Holocaust survivor Hedi McKinley spoke to Draper Middle School eighth graders yesterday as part of their inter-disciplinary studies on World War II. Ms. McKinley shared with the students that, at age 96, she is still affected by the horrific events of the Holocaust. During her presentation, students had the opportunity to ask questions and view pictures of Ms. McKinley’s family. Mohonasen Central School District extends its gratitude to Ms. McKinley for taking time to personally teach our students about this important time period in history and to Mohonasen Librarian Mindy Holland, who arranged for the presentation.
