The Mohonasen Athletic Department has established the following guidelines to ensure a safe, enjoyable, and respectful environment at JV and Varsity Boys & Girls Basketball games. Here’s a summary of the key rules:
- No backpacks or bags: These are not allowed in the game venue for safety and security purposes.
- No student re-entry: Once you leave the game, re-entry is not permitted. Plan to stay if you attend.
- Adult accompaniment for younger students: Students in grade 8 or below must be accompanied by an adult to attend the game.
- Consequences for inappropriate behavior: Students who need to be escorted out due to misbehavior will be banned from attending future games for the remainder of the season.
- Student ID requirement: All Mohonasen and visiting students must present a student ID to gain entry.
- No loitering after school: Students must leave after period 10 and return at game time. Waiting on school grounds between dismissal and the game is not allowed.
- Positive game conduct: Games are a time to support the teams. Enjoy the concession stands and cheer for Mohonasen respectfully.
