On December 5-8, four Mohonasen musicians, Laurel Karp, Amelia Maksuti, Cecelia Mucci and Alexis Thayer, had the opportunity to perform in the prestigious and highly competitive All-State Festival Choirs. Laurel, Amelia and Alexis performed with the All-State Treble Choir and Cecelia performed with the All-State Mixed Choir. Both ensembles require perfect or near-perfect NYSSMA scores at the highest level 6 to be chosen for this event.
These Mohonasen students performed with hundreds of other top-scoring musicians from around the state and presented two incredible concerts at the Eastman Theater this weekend in Rochester, NY. Congratulations to these singers on their hard work and accomplishments!
