Mohonasen Central School District will now feature online registration for all summer programs through FamilyID.
FamilyID is a secure registration platform that provides an easy, user-friendly way to register for summer programs.
It also helps the district to be more administratively efficient and environmentally responsible. When you register through FamilyID, the system keeps track of your information in your FamilyID profile. For example, a student who earned a regular session grade of 50 must earn a minimum summer school grade of 80 in order to end up with a passing grade of 65 and credit for the course.
General information
Registration: Summer School registration will take place from 9 to 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 26 in the High School Cafe B.
Attendance: Daily attendance is necessary for a student to be successful in Summer School. Students may not exceed three (3) absences for the duration of the summer school program. Excessive absences and tardiness may result in loss of course credits. Minutes are counted toward a student’s attendance record. During the summer session there is no opportunity for makeup work. Any missed classwork, tests, etc., will result in a zero, regardless of the reason for absence.
Parking: Students driving to Summer School must park in the designated student parking lot.
Bicycle storage: Bike storage will be available for students at their own risk. Use of bike locks is strongly recommended.
Discipline: Summer School students are expected to abide by the Mohonasen Code of Conduct. Students referred to the office for disciplinary reasons risk suspension and jeopardize their chances of successfully completing the summer requirements.
Regents exams: In courses leading to a Regents exam, students are required to take the summer Regents exam on August 16 and 17.
Walk-in Regents exams: Students who are not enrolled in a Summer School class can still take the August Regents, but they should register on June 26. Walk-in registrations will be accepted after this date if space is available.
