Author Elizabeth Macy recently visited Bradt Elementary to share her book series, “Lucky’s Adventure” — and she brought along the star of the show, Lucky, her dog! Macy read to the students and walked them through the process of publishing a book. She explained the importance of storyboarding and introduced them to the role of an illustrator, showing how they bring a story to life through art.
The students asked questions, gaining valuable insight into the creative journey of making a book. Macy inspired them to explore their own storytelling ideas, sparking the imagination of future young authors.
