Mohonasen will be offering a fall driver education program. The sixteen week program will run from September 16, 2024 – January 27, 2025. Registration will not be taken over the telephone. You must be 16 years of age or older by September 16, 2024 and have your driving permit.
Please read the following information carefully.
The class size is limited to 20 students. The first 20 paid students will be accepted into the program. If enrollment exceeds 20 students, the district may offer a second section, for a maximum total enrollment of 40 students.
The cost of the session is $400. All collected funds go to compensate the instructor(s) and no surcharges are added. Payments will be collected starting June 10, 2024 through August 15, 2024 or when the class is full. Payment options are: pay online at FamilyID or with a check made payable to Rotterdam – Mohonasen Central School District and add Driver Ed and students name in memo to be delivered to the District Office.
**NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN AFTER THE SESSION BEGINS.**
Once payment is approved for the program, students will be required to attend a mandatory scheduling meeting on Wednesday, September 11, 2024 at the CAT Cafe/Commons from 2:10-3 p.m. in order to establish driving times.
Students must plan on attending class, attendance is mandatory. Driving groups will meet once a week on a fixed schedule, beginning Monday, September 16, 2024.
Driving days and times are Monday from 3-4:30 p.m., and Tuesday and Wednesday at 3-4:30 p.m. or 4:30-6 p.m. All students are also required to attend the classroom portion of the session which will be held Mondays 4:30-6 p.m., beginning Monday, September 16, 2024.
If you are interested in signing up for driver’s education for this session please fill out the registration form and return to Mrs. Barry in the District Office. Once payment is approved, students will be required to attend a scheduling meeting on Wednesday, September 11, 2024 in the CAT Cafe/Commons from 2:10-3 p.m. in order to establish driving times.
