Three Mohonasen seniors have signed National Letters of Intent to play college sports beginning in 2021.

Natalie Blackstone will attend Mansfield University in Pennsylvania to play Division II softball; Mattie Muller will attend The College of St. Rose in Albany, also to play Division II softball; and Kate Sherman, a standout runner since 7th Grade, will attend Division I Iona College in New Rochelle to join the Track and Field team.

Kate is a 10-time sectional champion, 12-time Colonial Council champion, three-time XC state meet qualifier, including placing 7th in 2020, earning 1st Team All-State status. These are just a few of her significant athletic accomplishments. Kate is ranked 9th in her class academically, a member of the National Honor Society and the Math and Science honor societies, and she is also class secretary.

Both Mattie and Natalie are Scholar Athlete Award recipients, members of the National Honor Society, Academic Letter Award recipients and members of the Science, Math and Spanish national honor societies.
